Bus Schedule Pamphlet for Port Authority Transit

In the Spring of 2006, I redesigned the current bus schedule brochures for the 61A, 61B, and 69A Port Authority buses in Pittsburgh. The current design's treatment of the bus information, which focused on accurate geographical distances, proved confusing for users during tests. I found that users are more interested in intersections and regions when reading a bus schedule - the bare minimum information that will get them to their destinations on time. I incorporated this into my redesign by focusing on symbolic information rather than geographical accuracy.
